The tour will begin in the original building on Melrose Ave. and continue into the adjacent building designed by Frank Gehry and completed in 1979, which houses Gemini’s etching studio on the ground floor and exhibition space on the second floor. The tour will conclude in the studio where many artists have collaborated with Gemini’s master printers, most notably the late Richard Serra. 

 

The works on display in the gallery will be a selection of new and previous publications by renowned artist Toba Khedoori. Based in Los Angeles, Khedoori is known for her monumental works on paper, which explore themes of space and structure through her intricate and detailed drawings. As part of Frieze Los Angeles, Gemini GEL will be hosting an artist reception for Toba Khedoori on Saturday February 22, 2025 from 4 – 7PM, which KCAI LA Art Trip guests are invited to attend.
